Everything from bolt‑ons to sub‑6‑second builds

Six things we do, all under one roof: full custom builds, forced-induction installs, in-house dyno tuning, engine building, fabrication, and race prep. No job leaves without being proven on the rollers.

01 / Custom Performance Builds

Full-scope builds, stock to strip weapon

This is the flagship of what we do: complete build-outs for streetcars and drag cars, planned as one coherent combo instead of a pile of parts. Foxbody Mustangs, Terminator Cobras, and Coyote-swapped platforms have gone from bone stock through this shop all the way to sub-6-second quarter-mile performance.

Because we build, fabricate, and tune in-house, the power plan, fuel system, drivetrain, and chassis get spec'd together — so the car works as a package on the street, on the dyno, and in the lanes.

  • Foxbody, S197 & S550 Mustang and Cobra platforms — turbo, blown, or NA
  • Coyote-swap build-outs from mock-up to first pull
  • Stick-shift drag builds set up to live under abuse
  • Combo planning: power, fuel, converter/clutch, suspension, safety
  • Ford & Chevrolet platforms serviced
Good fit if You want one shop responsible for the whole car — and you want to see it documented on video, not just billed on an invoice.

02 / Turbocharger & Supercharger Installation

Boost installed and tuned by people who race it

Forced induction is where combos go wrong at other shops — a kit bolted on with no fuel, no tune, and no plan. Here, the install and the calibration come from the same bay. We install and tune the systems we run and race ourselves:

  • HPT twin-turbo setups
  • ProCharger centrifugal supercharger installs
  • Whipple twin-screw superchargers
  • Kenne Bell twin-screw superchargers
  • Supporting mods to match: fuel system, intercooling, boost control

Ever wonder how a Kenne Bell 2.6 stacks up against a Whipple 2.9 on near-identical Terminator Cobras? We put both on our DynoJet and filmed the whole shootout — that's the level of curiosity your install gets.

Good fit if You've got a Mustang, Cobra, or boosted truck and a horsepower target — and you want the kit, the fuel, and the tune handled as one job.

03 / Dyno Tuning

You leave with numbers, not guesses

Every serious combo that comes through this shop ends up strapped to our in-house dyno — it's how we prove our own work and how we find the power other tunes leave on the table. One customer's Procharged Cobra picked up big once we found what was holding it back; amazing what a little timing will do.

  • In-house dyno testing and tuning — boosted and naturally aspirated combos
  • Boost control setup and verification
  • MAT (manifold air temperature) monitoring during pulls
  • EFI calibration, including Holley EFI
  • Baseline pulls, before/after comparisons, and troubleshooting sessions
Good fit if Your car runs but you don't trust the tune, you just added parts, or you want a verified number before race season.

04 / Engine Building

Engines built to be leaned on

From street strokers to high-RPM naturally aspirated screamers, our engine work covers the combinations Ford guys actually run. We've built an NA Coyote that makes music at 8,500 RPM — and it lives there, pull after pull.

  • Small block Ford strokers — 306 and 427ci SBF combinations
  • Coyote swap engine packages, NA and boosted
  • High-RPM naturally aspirated builds
  • Short blocks spec'd for the boost they'll actually see
  • Break-in and verification on our own dyno before delivery
Good fit if The stock bottom end has done all it can, or you're planning a swap and want the engine and the car spec'd by the same shop.

05 / Custom Fabrication

Fabricated in-house, built for competition

Off-the-shelf parts only get a build so far. When the combo needs something that doesn't exist in a catalog, we make it — in this shop, for cars that race in drag radial and no-prep competition.

  • Full-length aluminum exhaust systems
  • Air-to-water intercooler plumbing
  • Custom wiring for EFI and race electronics
  • Chassis modifications for drag radial and no-prep classes
  • One-off brackets, mounts, and plumbing to make the combo work
Good fit if Your build has outgrown bolt-on parts, or your class rules demand chassis work done by people who've been through tech themselves.

06 / Drag Week · Sick Week · No-Prep Race Prep

Prepped by racers who've been in those lanes

Drag-and-drive events are brutal: full pulls all day, then hundreds of highway miles to the next track. We prepare and support customer cars for exactly that — because we compete in these events ourselves, and we know what breaks and what survives.

  • Sick Week preparation and support
  • Drag Week preparation and support
  • Stick Shift Challenge builds and prep
  • No-prep and grudge racing setup
  • Pre-event shakedown: cooling, fuel, spares, and tune verified on the dyno
Good fit if You've got an event on the calendar and you want the car sorted before tech day — not in the pits at midnight.

How it works

From phone call to full pulls

No mystery, no upsell script. Here's exactly what happens when you bring us a car.

Talk the Combo

Call or send the form. We talk through what you're driving, what you want it to do, and whether we're the right shop for it — straight answers either way.

Plan the Build

We spec the whole package together — power, fuel, drivetrain, fab work — so nothing gets bolted on that the rest of the car can't back up.

Build & Fabricate

Install, engine work, and custom fabrication happen in-house. Major builds get documented on video so you see the work, not just the invoice.

Prove It on the Dyno

Every combo gets strapped to the rollers before it leaves — boost control checked, MAT monitored, calibration verified. You leave with numbers.

Straight answers

Before you call

Ford and Chevrolet performance is our lane — Foxbody, S197, and S550 Mustangs, Terminator Cobras, Coyote swaps, and boosted street trucks. If your platform isn't on that list, call us and we'll tell you honestly whether it's a fit.

We're obsessive about cars — that's literally the shop motto. Major builds and dyno sessions get documented on video, so you can watch how your car is handled, see the numbers it makes, and hear the reasoning behind every decision.

In-house, on our own dyno. Boost control, MAT monitoring, and EFI calibration — including Holley EFI — are done by the same people who built the combo, which is how it should be.

It depends entirely on the combo, so we don't publish one-size-fits-none prices. Tell us the car, the goal, and the timeline and we'll give you a straight quote. Fair warning: we're not the cheapest wrench in Lake County — we're the shop that plans the whole combo and proves it on the rollers.

Yes — that's one of our specialties, and we run these events ourselves. We prep and support customer cars for Sick Week, Drag Week, Stick Shift Challenge, and no-prep events, including pre-event shakedowns and dyno verification. The earlier you call before your event, the better.

Let's talk about your car

Tell us the combo. We'll tell you straight.

Bolt-ons and a tune, a blower install, a full engine build, or race prep — describe what you've got and where you want it to go. No pressure, no upsell script, and if our schedule's full we'll say so.
